CALÉ : Clothing Website

Creating CALÉ in Axure, an aesthetic and user-friendly online clothing website for women involved a meticulous design process centered around Jakob Nielsen's 10 heuristic evaluations.

The project began with thorough research, including user interviews, competitor analysis, and persona development, which helped us understand the target audience's needs and preferences. This research phase informed the design decisions and set a solid foundation for the project. The next step was ideation and wireframing, where I brainstormed and created low-fidelity wireframes for key pages: the homepage, new arrival page, wishlist page, create account page, and products page. Each page was designed to be visually appealing while ensuring ease of navigation and functionality. Through iterative feedback loops, these wireframes were refined to address user pain points and enhance the overall user experience. Using Axure, I developed high-fidelity prototypes, focusing on aesthetic appeal and adherence to the 10 heuristic evaluations. The homepage featured high-quality images and clear navigation, drawing users in and providing easy access to various sections of the website. The new arrival page highlighted the latest collections with a clean, organized layout. The wishlist page allowed users to save and manage their favorite items effortlessly, while the create account page offered a smooth and secure registration process. The products page provided comprehensive information, including detailed descriptions, high-quality images, and user reviews, helping users make informed purchasing decisions. Usability testing was a critical phase where I gathered feedback from a diverse group of users. This feedback was instrumental in identifying areas for improvement, leading to iterative design adjustments that enhanced usability and user satisfaction. The final solution delivered a cohesive, user-friendly, and visually appealing website that met the project goals.

The outcome was a sleek, aesthetically pleasing online clothing website that users praised for its visual appeal and ease of navigation.

The application of heuristic evaluations ensured that the design not only looked good but also functioned seamlessly, resulting in increased user engagement, higher conversion rates, and positive user feedback. This project exemplifies my ability to combine aesthetic design with strategic UX principles to create a user-centered, engaging, and effective online shopping experience. The final design was not just about aesthetics but also about creating an intuitive user experience.
